Tearful Kris Jenner confronts Caitlyn Jenner on 'I Am Cait' (photos)

In Sunday's episode of I Am Cait, Kris confronted her ex-husband, Bruce Jenner, who now wears a dress and heels and calls himself, Caitlyn. Kris was upset about Caitlyn's interview in Vanity Fair- "You're sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life, you're just not so sensitive and amazing to the family that you left behind.'

Caitlyn gives her side, responding: 'I try to do everything I can to be nice, reach out. You have to see it from my perspective, be an ally when it comes to dealing with the kids.'

Kris tells her: 'When you feel like you gave your whole life to somebody and the sum of it all was you were a distraction…'

But her angry ex-husband shuts her down, saying: 'Don't go there, this is not the issue. I was defending myself. It was a distraction from the sense of who I was, that doesn't mean I didn't love you or the kids.'

Throughout Sunday night's episode Caitlyn is shown getting into arguments with her stepchildren, first with Kim and then with Khloe Kardashian.
When Kim comes to visit she first complains about how her family had all kept their distance.

She said: 'Nobody's come out [to visit], Kourtney hasn't made a move at all, obviously Khloe hasn't come close - I feel so isolated out here. All of a sudden there's this wall that's up there.'

"I just want everybody to be happy. I love, love, love all my kids. I wish you guys were here every damn day.'

But it is not long before Caitlyn is also being criticized, firstly due to her nature and then due to what she has said about her family to Vanity Fair.
Kim said: 'You still have a little Bruce in you. I thought Caitlyn would be a little kinder. I think that there's some things that you said that you might not realise are hurtful.
'You said that Kendall and Kylie were a distraction. When they read that - I don't know that they'll quite understand that.'

The conversation then turned to Kim's manager mother, with explosive results.
Kim said: '[The interview] said, "had Kris been accepting to who I am, we still would be together" - and that is the most unfair thing in the world to say.
'You're a woman now and she is not a lesbian - she does not want to be with a woman, that's not fair to ask.'

Caitlyn defensively insisted: 'As time went on our relationship changed drastically. In my eyes it's like, "Well, I don't need him any more - I've got all the girls." I felt it in the way she treated me. She wanted me out of the house.'

Kim, insisting Caitlyn should have been thrilled and saying 'good riddance' to a relationship that 'wasn't mean to be', told her: 'If I was with someone for 25 years I would look for the positive things and try to end it on a good note.

'You said "Kris mistreated me" - it sounded like she beat the s**t out of you. You could have a little more respect.'

But Caitlyn cut her off, warning: 'I can see where you're trying to go here - don't go there.'
Kim also had a stark warning for the attention-hungry reality television personality, saying: 'You've got the fame - but you're losing your family.'

Later Caitlyn also got into a verbal sparring match with Khloe, with the latter batting away claims she had sent 'very nasty text messages,' insisting she was the only one willing to tell her stepfather what everyone else was thinking.

Khloe said: 'That makes me seem like this crazy b**ch. I'm like, I'm already a b**ch - I don't want to be the crazy and the b**ch, I want to be just the one.'

Of her texts, she told Caitlyn: 'Kim said that you said they were tough and Kim read all of them and she was like "these really weren't that tough".

'I just said "We don't care what you're doing." Meaning we don't care if you want to transition. We want to support you and be there for you.'

Black woman & white teen charged with similar crime. Guess which one is forced into a cavity search?

They are two incidents from the frontline of American police's ongoing campaign against soft drugs.
In one, a young woman (left) claimed she was allegedly forced to pull down her trousers and endure a cavity search after an officer said he smelled marijuana in her car. In the second, a young man (right) who was arrested for speeding and who reportedly admitted to having smoked marijuana before getting behind the wheel, was permitted to pose for a selfie with the arresting officer.

Charnesia Corley has accused officers of sexually assaulting her after she was pulled over in Houston on June 21 after allegedly failing to stop at a traffic light.

After an officer claimed to have smelled marijuana, the young woman was hand-cuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car. The policeman then called for a female colleague to perform an intimate search.

The female deputy, Ronaldine Pierre, ordered Ms Corley to pull her trousers down, but she refused, saying she was not wearing underwear, KTRK reported.

“Well, that doesn’t matter,” Ms Corley said the female officer told her. She said a second female officer then helped wrestle her to the ground while one sat on her back. They then spread Ms Corley’s legs open and inserted their fingers inside her vagina, she said.

“I feel like they sexually assaulted me,” she told the network. She said she felt “disgusted, downgraded, humiliated”.

Ms Corley is in the process of filing a legal action against the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The department did not immediately respond to inquiries, though reports said police have charged Ms Corley with two minor offences. They said she had found .02 ounces of marijuana on her.

The man detained for allegedly speeding, 20-year-old Gilbert Phelps, was pulled over in Iowa City last week. Police said he was speeding and had an obstructed registration sticker.

Reports said officer Ben Hektoen detected an odour of “ingested alcohol” inside the suspect’s Toyota Camry. When questioned, Mr Phelps said he had been smoking marijuana before getting into the car, according to a report on the Smoking Gun.

After being brought to the station, Mr Phelps was permitted to pose for a selfie with Mr Hektoen, with the officer “happily obliging” to the request.

No-one from the Iowa City Police Department was available for comment.. But Mr Phelps said he captioned the photo with emoji icons showing “a police car, next to a passenger car, next to a tow truck”.

There is nothing to connect the two events; the first incident is said to have taken place in Texas, the second in Iowa. They both involved different officers and different police departments. The full details of what transpired have yet to emerge.

But many on social media pointed out that the young woman in the first incident was black, while the young man who was allowed to pose while allegedly being stoned, was white.

It is difficult, the commentators said, to imagine the scenes being repeated had it been the other way around.

Materials used by Boko Haram are sold in shops owned by Nigerians - Ex Chief of Naval Staff says

Immediate past Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin says that some of the materials used by Boko Haram members to make the devices they use in their various attacks are sold by Nigerians and in Nigerian shops.

According to The Nation, he said this while speaking to reporters after his pulling out ceremony at the Naval Base, Apapa in Lagos yesterday August 12th.

“Terrorists are among us; they are very difficult for security agencies to identify without intelligence. Since they are among us, the source of materials used for their devices are sold by Nigerians and some from shops belonging to Nigerians. To that end, one expects that owners of stolen equipment or those who suspicious equipment are bought from should report to the security agencies, their confidentiality is guaranteed because no one will disclose the source of the information. I am appealing to Nigerians to support President Buhari and the security agencies so that they can do their jobs well. Believing in the effectiveness of intelligence gathering, Nigerians must provide the intelligence for security forces to be able to identify would-be bombers and suicide bombers; as well as monitoring to the extent that security forces can unravel where terrorists make their IEDs.”he said
